Weight Update

My weight was 180 lbs. this morning, I peeked at 240 lbs. I have been as low as 179 lbs. I had been hugnry all the time since the holidays and craving sweets. My weight had inched back up to 185 lbs. and then I had to go back to war. My goal is to get my weight down to 175 lbs. I feel that would be a good running weight for my height 5'10". If I keep my weight down and be careful with what I eat I should be off of Lipitor in May, that is the goal. I have a lot of health issues on both sides of my family that can be controlled by a healthy life style: high cholesterol, diabetes, high triglycerides, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, depression and cancer. When I started running my bad cholesterol and triglycerides were so high that my good cholesterol could not even be measured. My blood pressure was borderline high and my doctor was threatening to start me on blood pressure medicine.

Any ideas or suggestions on dieting ?

  1. Good Luck, Art. I'm trying to get off of Lipitor, too, but I have a long way to go. Sounds like you're really close. You can do it!
