I'm a 60 y/o running 150 slow miles a month and I love Mizunos. When I started running about 18 months ago I was wearing cheap casual running shoes and learned quickly that I needed to put some effort into getting the right shoe. My first purchase was the Mizuno Wave Creation 12. As soon as I put them on there was a marked difference in my performance and I was much more comfortable in them. I was using them mainly on the road, but as I mixed in some X-Country I decided to get a pair of Mizuno Ascend 6. They are probably what is referred to as a neutral+ shoe. They work well for me. I replaced the Wave Creations with a pair of Wave Prophecy II when they had about a 700 miles wear on them. I still wear the wave creations in very bad weather to preserve the Prophecy IIs. Every one of those shoes works very well for me, but I really do my best with the least soreness in the newest pair. I'm not an elite runner and there may be shoes out there that I would like even more than the Mizunos. I'll never know though, because every running shoe I buy from here on in will probably be a Mizuno.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4385641046647712452.post-50616799485603701712013-03-12T07:24:32.417-07:002013-03-12T07:24:32.417-07:00That's my shoe!
